Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Proofio ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Proofio for your own inspection and reporting purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.

Your account

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for the content you create in the app.

Subscriptions & billing

• Proofio offers a free tier with monthly usage limits and a paid Pro tier with additional features. New accounts may receive a time-limited free Pro trial.
• Any paid subscriptions are sold and processed through the app store you installed from — the Apple App Store on iOS, or Google Play on Android. Payment, renewal, and cancellation are handled by that store account, and Apple's or Google's terms apply to those transactions. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Refunds are handled according to that store's refund policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app, other users' data, or our systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service or its infrastructure.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use.

Your content

You retain ownership of the inspections, photos, notes, and reports you create. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of that content and for maintaining your own backups. Most content is stored locally on your device; see the Privacy Policy for details on what is synced.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Proofio is a tool to help document inspections; it does not replace professional judgment, and you are responsible for the conclusions and reports you produce with it. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kentrix Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and may request account deletion via the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the app in a way that harms the service or other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
