Terms of Use
Conditions for authorized use of Farlatch.

Publisher and scope
These terms apply to the Farlatch app published by CGRENEWABLES LLC, doing business as Kentrix Technologies. Contact jerry@tradesmatepro.com for support or questions. By using the app, you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use it.
Authorized use
You may use Farlatch with compatible hardware and sites for which the owner has authorized you. Installation does not grant access. Do not bypass access controls, enroll devices without permission, interfere with another site or share private enrollment credentials. Site administrators may change or revoke permissions. Keep your phone and administrator controls secure and promptly report a lost device.
Compatible hardware and installation
Hardware is required and is not included simply by downloading the app. Use supported board/firmware profiles and electrically compatible interfaces. GPIO connections are not suitable for direct connection to gate power or arbitrary sensor voltages. Installation, commissioning and maintenance must follow the opener and accessory manufacturers’ instructions and applicable requirements.
Gate operation and safety
A cycle request is not a guaranteed Open or Close instruction. Depending on the opener’s current state it may open, stop or close the gate. Unless suitable feedback hardware is installed and supported, the app cannot confirm physical gate position, relay contact closure or a clear driveway. Treat missing acknowledgments as an uncertain outcome and check the gate before another request.
Farlatch does not replace the opener’s obstruction/entrapment protection, emergency controls or independent keypad/remotes. Maintain required safety devices and keep people, animals and vehicles clear of moving gates. Do not rely on an app cooldown or radio connection as vehicle protection. Perform firmware maintenance only with suitable power and a safe installation; follow isolation instructions before tests that could affect the relay.
Availability, updates and offline limitations
Bluetooth/radio range, interference, power, wiring, device compatibility and firmware versions affect operation. Commands and revocations may not reach an offline board immediately. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, automatic recovery from every fault or suitability for emergency access. Maintain an independent means of authorized entry/exit and preserve necessary recovery/signing material.
Privacy and third-party terms
Our Privacy Policy describes current data practices. App-store/platform terms and the site owner’s access rules also apply. This release does not offer a subscription or Kentrix cloud account; any future paid service will have disclosed terms before purchase.
Software and legal rights
We permit authorized use of the app with supported installations. Do not redistribute it or use our branding as your own except where we expressly allow it or applicable law permits it. Third-party components retain their respective licenses.
The app is provided subject to applicable law and without a promise that every hardware installation or use case will work. Nothing in these terms excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not certify an installation or relieve anyone of applicable safety obligations.
Changes and contact
